Mahalo donors, I am very grateful for your generosity. This is very meaningful because the award will allow me to pursue my dream of becoming a registered nurse and not worry too much about how I will afford college while having a family. In today’s world, any type of assistance is helpful due to the rising costs especially here in Hawaiʻi. I will utilize my knowledge of nursing in the way I care for my patients at the Queen's Medical Center. I also look forward to getting more involved with the Native Hawaiian community and helping to increase the health status of Native Hawaiians.
