Mahalo e ka ʻohana of the Yasuko Mitsuyasu Master of Accounting Scholarship,I believe in futures where all Native Hawaiian keiki receive high quality and culturally significant education because I have experienced, first hand, generosity such as yours which has changed my life. Because of your makana, I was able to become a first generation college student though I was raised by my incredible single mother whose highest level of formal education was eighth grade. I am committed to a lifetime of serving our existing charitable endowments focused on kānaka or education as a finance professional and expanding them through an eventual doctoral program focusing on kanaka economies.
