Mahalo nui donors of the KSH PTO scholarship and Tauati 'Ohana. This will help me to afford to attend Dartmouth College. While will travel far away for university, I hope to take what I've learned at college back home to improve Hawaiʻi. Specifically, I want to major in mechanical engineering with a specialization in renewable energy because Hawaiʻi's dependence on fossil fuels hurts both our economy (importing foreign fuels) and our environment (increasing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere).
