Mahalo nui for extending a generous hand to me and many adolescents that are eager to make something of themselves. Your kind offer will help me to become the first member of my immediate family to graduate with a college degree. I plan to study Hawaiian language and culture, and a few other languages and cultures such as Spanish, Japanese, French, ASL, and Māori. I strive to use these as tools of communication to achieve my dreams for a future career which are to travel and work toward helping people of different backgrounds around the world connect and better understand each other through language.
