Mahalo nui loa donors of the Kamehameha Schools Association of Kauaʻi Scholarship. It means a great deal for me and will help me pursue my dreams of acquiring more knowledge of the people and world around me. I am very excited about this next journey in my school life. I cannot wait to see what the world outside of Hawaiʻi and my family can offer and be able to bring it back to the islands. I would love to write stories that either relate or trace back to the origins of my ancestors and write a book in Hawaiian that explores more than just the traditional genres of Hawaiian literature.
