Mahalo nui loa. I am so humbled and grateful to be a recipient of the Gladys Kamakakuokalani ʻAinoa Brandt Scholarship. This award will help me in my final leg to accomplish my goal of attaining my doctorate degree in education. It is through your generous support that more Native Hawaiians are able to pursue college in order to elevate the consciousness of our lāhui. My hope is to one day have my own non-profit organization to support the efforts of Hawaiian culture-based education in all schools in Hawaiʻi. Mahalo nui loa iā ʻoukou pākahi me ka haʻahaʻa loa.
