Mahalo donors of the Gladys Kamakakuokalani 'Ainoa Brandt Scholarship. I am so grateful to have your support during my final year of college. I will be the first in my family to graduate college and cant wait to reach more of my long term goals. Your scholarship is assisting me in affording college while student teaching full time to complete my licensure program! I hope to achieve another year of growth and health ! Mahalo nui loa again!I overall goal with my degree is to return home to Waimea on the Big Island and teach in the same public school that I have attended. Growing up I was always reminded that it is okay to leave home for school as long as you return to Hawaii and give back to your community. Teaching and education the next generations will be my kuleana and return to my community.
