I wish to extend a heartfelt mahalo to the donors for the generous aid they are providing for me. Education is incredibly important to my family and me and this scholarship will greatly relieve us of financial stress. I am so grateful. I plan to get my BFA in graphic design, then start freelance graphic design work in order to build a professional portfolio. When I have enough client work and professional experience, I want to join an established design firm with the ultimate goal of starting my own design firm or act as an art director for projects that I am passionate about.
