Our impact
Collectively, we have made great progress and growth, but what excites us the most is the enormous potential we have to do even more.

Dear donors of the Kamehameha Schools Class of 1975 Scholarship, Kamehameha Schools Maui Parent Teacher Student Organization 'A'apueo Scholarship, and William K. and Julia T. Kapololu Scholarship,Mahalo for choosing me as a scholarship recipient. I am very grateful to have the support in my journey returning back to school to become a nurse. Throughout my time working in the medical field, I have learned a lot. I’ve gained a lot of clinical experience and believe that a career as a nurse will be impactful, especially to the rural Hilo community. I enjoy working hands on with patients and believe that this career choice is the right decision for me.Thank you for believing in me. I had doubts that I would receive any assistance due to the fact that I have a degree already, but being awarded these scholarships have reassured me that I have support and encouraged me to continue to further my education. It has lessened the financial burden for me as I will be returning to school along with being a new mother.
