It is my honor to be able to thank you for your generosity and belief in my future endeavors as I partake in my Master's degree journey; I will not let you down. It is both fitting and humbling to be bestowed a scholarship named after such a greatly respected woman whom I feel I share many interests with: being an advocate for our communities, standing firm within our Hawaiian culture, and having a strong desire and motivation to uplift the next generation through education.
