I would like to give my mahalo to the donors of the Douglas and Sandra Akina Scholarship. With this aid you have provided me, I will be furthering my education this upcoming year by pursuing a double major in education and English. English has always been my most loved subject. My dream is to someday come back to Kamehameha Schools Maui as an English teacher. In pursuing these goals, I hope to contribute to the betterment of the lāhui, the education of future generations of haumāna, and honoring Pauahi's legacy and passion for the future of our keiki.
