Our impact
Collectively, we have made great progress and growth, but what excites us the most is the enormous potential we have to do even more.

Mahalo donors of the Joseph Nawahi Scholarship! I am beyond grateful for this opportunity to receive support. To continue to be blessed by Ke Ali‘i Bernice Pauahi Bishop, after all these years, means the world to me and my ‘ohana. It is not without the support of her legacy and the believers in her legacy that I would be able to attend a higher institution, to pursue this degree. From a young age, I knew I would have to work extremely hard to obtain the opportunities I desired. Therefore, I am eternally grateful for every little bit of help I get along the way.Your gift will allow me to continue to pursue my law degree, while also relieving some of the financial burdens that come with perceiving a graduate or higher degree. This allows me to focus on my school work, continue helping in Student Leadership, and hopefully volunteer more with Mediation programs in O‘ahu, as I did while pursuing my undergraduate degree.I hope to make you all proud and I constantly strive to live up to everything Ke Ali‘i Pauahi has done for me, my ‘ohana, and all of us.Mahalo nui loa!!!
