Mahalo donors of the Bartels Ohana Scholarship. I am deeply humbled and grateful to be the recipient of this award. As someone who is majoring in political science with a focus on Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander rights, the Bartels Ohana Scholarship was of particular interest to me. With this award, I intend to use it during the 2024-2025 school year in order to lessen the financial burden on both my ohana and myself. Furthermore, I intend to continue my extensive public service outside the classroom, while also continuing my educational journey. Mahalo again for this esteemed honor.
