Mahalo donors of the Makaloa Scholarship! I am so grateful for your support in continuing my goal of becoming a physician. The support that I feel through receiving this scholarship provides me with the extra strength and stamina necessary to be successful in the intensely rigorous program of medicine, knowing that there are people who believe in me. I am excited to start my clinical years and get more hands on experience with patients. I hope to learn as much as I can to continue to add both professional and interpersonal skills to my repertoire.
