Mahalo nui loa donors for your generous gifts! With this scholarship, I will have the ability to not only further my education, but I won’t have to be a burden for my family. I will be pursuing a degree in speech, language, and hearing to one day become a speech therapist who aids impoverished communities nationwide along with those living in third-world countries. I then hope to settle back in Hilo to start my own private practice. I’m looking forward to learning how to become a strong independent woman and making the most out of the learning environment.
