I would like to formally thank and appreciate the donors of the John A. and Georgia J. Meyer Scholarship for their careful consideration and acceptance of my application to their scholarship. This scholarship means the world not only to me but my family. Many obstacles have stood in the way to get to this point, but with the help of this generous award I can keep pushing forward. This amazing gift will allow me to pursue a higher education in Civil Engineering, which I will use to support my lahui and support my hopes to give back to the future generations. At this time next year I will be finishing my first year of college with the biggest thanks to this award. Words cannot quantify how much this means to me and my education.
