This scholarship will not only provide me with an opportunity to receive a higher education, but it will allow me to provide quality healthcare to the rural communities of Hawaiʻi Island for years to come. As a woman of underrepresented background and having grown up in rural Kailua-Kona, my journey through post-secondary education has not been easy, but your support allows this dream of mine to be a reality.
