Mahalo donors of the Kamehameha c/o 1957 and Mary Atherton Richards Scholarships! With your kōkua, I will be able to continue my education at Penn State University. My intended major is Immunology & Infectious Disease. I aspire to become a pediatric rheumatologist who takes care of children with musculoskeletal diseases such as juvenile arthritis, which I am diagnosed with. I am very excited to start my new chapter somewhere completely new to me which will be quite the experience! I hope to return to Oʻahu and open my own clinic as a pediatric rheumatologist in the future. Mahalo once again for your support of haumāna like me!
