I was delighted to learn that I was selected to be a recipient! Thank you! It is because of your generosity that I can pursue my goal of becoming an elementary educator. I am entering my third year of the Integrated Studies Program with a concentration in natural science. It is my goal to return home to Hawaiʻi to educate and teach Native Hawaiian students. I believe this scholarship will positively impact my future career and prospects. I hope that one day I’ll be able to give back and help students achieve their goals, the way you have helped me.
