I want to say mahalo for all your support and generosity towards me. This is such a huge opportunity and blessing for my ʻohana and me because it’ll help me financially as I go through my college education and even my career afterwards. This year, I hope to achieve my goals of doing well in college academically, socially, financially, and mentally. I plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in Hawaiian studies, then get a teaching license through Kahuawaiola, UH Hilo’s Indigenous Teacher Education Program. After my college career, I will come back to my hometown, Hāna, and teach in a Hawaiian Immersion school. Mahalo aku au iā ʻoukou!
