Mahalo donors of the Makalo-G scholarship! I am truly appreciative that I was selected as a recipient of this scholarship because higher education is not cheap, and this will greatly reduce the loans I need. I hope to keep up with the straight As I’ve gotten since I got back into school. I want to become an effective social worker in either a case management position at a place like Care Hawaiʻi or the VA. I also would like to start up my own substance abuse treatment center sometime in the future.
