Mahalo donors of the PTO Scholarship! I am grateful for this generous scholarship granted to me, it has been stressful trying to figure out how to pay for college. Iʻve had trouble earning scholarships personally and at times it makes me down on myself, as if Iʻm not good enough. Receiving this scholarship shows me that there are people who believe in me and my efforts who are willing to support me. I plan to major in biology at BYU Hawaiʻi to become a pharmacist, and while it is an ambitious goal, Pauahi and her legacy has inspired me to go after hard things.
