Mahalo donors of the Goldman Sachs/Matsuo Takabuki Commemorative Scholarship for your continuing support in my educational endeavors. I have another bright school year ahead of me, and with a year of graduate education behind me, I have a much clearer perspective of how I can apply myself for the remainder of my program. This year, I will be pursuing independent study opportunities as opposed to last year's more structured curriculum. The focus of my study will revolve around public-private partnerships, community-centered real estate development and the creation of inclusive, walkable urban spaces and how to make them feasible.
