Mahalo to the donors of the Ula Baker Sheecha Scholarship. Your generosity means so much to me and my ʻohana, allowing me to focus more on my education and less on financial stress. I am currently bearing a lot of responsibilities being of them is supporting my family financially. I can only contribute so much to my family and school and the stress can feel overwhelming. This scholarship eases the workload on myself and to be able to commit and contribute to my studies, jobs, and other kuleana. I’m excited to grow my skills and knowledge this year in Hawaiian Studies and Language. Mahalo nui loa for believing in my journey and helping me move closer to my goals.
